AHEC has update their school AHEC clinic locations and information. Additionally they are going to begin Telehealth Services. Now patients may stay at home and have their health visit conducted via our HIPAA compliant video system. Keys AHEC Health Centers is now offering Telehealth Medical Visits right from your Home. Student and current patients may call Keys AHEC at 305 743 7111 ext. 210 to schedule a visit from Home. Our goal is to keep all of you safe while providing the health care you need. Telehealth visits may be done from your computer or smartphone. Call Jennifer today to schedule your appointment. All the same protocols remain in place for onsite visits where patients will be assessed for COVID 19 prior to ever entering the bldg. Our goal is to keep everyone safe and healthy.

AHEC has released information about the reopening of School Clinics. The hours of operation will be changed to 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily. Clinic locations and days of operation for each site are located on the Clinic Flyers. Clinics will not plan to offer COVID-19 Testing at this time. Each patient who seeks care at one of the Clinics will also be assessed prior to entering the clinic space through a clinic pre-screening. Those assessed and are deemed at risk of COVID-19 will be referred for testing at a local site. Each Clinic location will have a poster with this information posted along with the clinic phone number to contact the provider inside. They ask that you contact the provider at each clinic prior to entering the clinic, this will allow them the ability to provide the highest quality of care for you and to protect all of us during this time. Based on a directive from Governor De Santis and the Florida Department of Education, all school campuses will be closed until April 15th 2020. These resources are available for those seeking activities for students to do in the interim, there is not any mandatory instruction at this time and additional information about instruction will be forthcoming.
Based on a directive from the Florida Department of Education and recommended by the CDC, Spring Break for all students in the Monroe County Schools will be extended for one additional week through March the 27th.
