All science fair projects are due Friday, December 6. Judging will take place the following week. All students may view project entries on Thursday, December 12, in the media center.
The semester grade breakdown for high school courses is 40% per quarter and 20% for the semester exam. High school students with 10 or more absences per semester must also pass the semester exam in order to receive credit for the course. Students who fail an exam and as result lose credit due to the attendance requirement may request an appeal by completing the following Attendance Waiver.
The Algebra 1 & Geometry EOC will be administered on December 10th & 11th. The Biology 1 and US History EOC will be administered on December 13th. As per Florida graduation requirements, students must recieve a passing score (level 3) on the Algebra 1 EOC or a concordant score on an approved alternate assessment. In addition to other requirements, students who are seeking the Scholar Diploma Designation must earn a passing score (level 3) on the Biology 1, Geometry, and US History EOCs. Please note, this administration is for students who wish to retake an exam. Students who are currenlty enrolled in any of the EOC courses will test in May.
The end of the 1st semester and 2nd quarter is Friday, December 20th. High school semester exams will begin Tuesday, December 17th and end Friday, December 20th. See the exam schedule on the calendar below.
