• Notice of Public Meeting: School Board

    On Tuesday, December 10, 2024, the School Board will begin with a Workshop starting at approximately 3:30 P.M., followed by the Regular Business Meeting approximately at 5:00 P.M. A Public Hearing for Policies is also included on the agenda. The host location is Coral Shores High School’s Media Center, 89901 Old Highway, Tavernier, FL 33070.

    Citizens wishing to address the Board on any agenda item before action should register to speak during the Citizen Input segment of the meeting by calling (305) 293-1400 ext. 53392 by 2:00 P.M of the meeting day. Upon arrival at the meeting, speakers will complete the Speaker's Form. 

    Persons requesting accommodations for a qualifying disability under the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) should call 305-293-1400 ext. 53392 with their request no less than five (5) business days prior to the meeting and complete a speaker's card identifying what accommodation is requested.

    If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Board, with respect to any matter considered at a School Board meeting or hearing, that person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings are made.

  • Notice of Retreat and Public Meeting: School Board

    On Tuesday, November 19, 2024, the School Board will hold a Retreat starting at 2:30 P.M. and will finish approximately at 4:00 P.M. The host location is at MCSD Operations Annex Building, 5330 2nd Avenue, Key West, FL 33040. 

    Following the retreat, the School Board will hold their Annual Organizational Meeting at 5:00 P.M., followed by the Regular Business Meeting approximately at 5:15 P.M. A Public Hearing for Policies is also included on the agenda. The host location of these two meetings will be Key West City Hall, 1300 White Street, Key West, FL 33040.

    On Tuesday, October 22, 2024 the School Board will hold the Regular Business Meeting at 5 p.m.. A Public Hearing for a policy are also included on the agenda. The host location is MCSD Administration Building, 241 Trumbo Road, Key West, FL, 33040.

    Citizens wishing to address the Board on any agenda item before action should register to  speak during the Citizen Input segment of the meeting by calling (305) 293-1400 ext. 53392 no later than 2:00 P.M of the meeting day. Upon arrival at the meeting, speakers will complete the Speaker's Form.
