  • Public Notice, April 23, 2025

    We are pleased to announce that the school board has officially approved the adoption of new Science and Personal Financial Literacy instructional materials for our district. This decision marks a significant step forward in enhancing the quality of education and resources available to our students.

    In accordance with policy, we are opening a 30-day public objection window beginning on April 23rd. During this period, members of the community are invited to review the approved materials and submit any objections or concerns they may have.

    • Public Objection Window: April 23rd - May 23rd

    We encourage all stakeholders, including parents, educators, and community members, to participate in this important process. Your feedback is invaluable in ensuring that our instructional materials meet the highest standards and reflect the needs and values of our community.

    Public Notice, April 6, 2025

    The Monroe County School District encourages public input on proposed K-12 instructional materials. You can review these materials through the Textbook Adoption Public Information Portal by creating a free account at www.edcredible.com and selecting "Public Adoption Information." If you need help, please contact support@edcredible.com.  A public hearing to discuss the proposed adoptions is scheduled for April 8, 2025, during the school board meeting which begins at 5:00 PM at 1300 White Street, Key West, FL 33040.
