The McKay Scholarship program provides an option for eligible students to attend a participating private school or transfer to another public school as defined by the program guidelines. NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
MONROE COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD
On Tuesday, June 22, 2021 the School Board will hold a Closed Executive Session for Litigation, a Closed Executive Session for Collaborative Bargaining, and a Workshop at 4:00 P.M.; and a Regular Meeting – time approximate 5:00 P.M. A Public Hearing will be given for Policy and Job Description. The host location is at Marathon Middle /High School Media Center, 350 Sombrero Beach Rd, Marathon, FL 33050.
Any member of the public who wishes to provide comment on any item before the School Board for action may register their intention to participate in the public portion of the meeting by calling (305) 293-1400 ext. 53323 before 4:00 P.M on the meeting day and upon their arrival at the meeting will complete a speaker's form at the entry. Please arrive no later than 5:00 P.M. Protective face masks are optional. If signing, special seating or other accommodations are required, please call (305) 293-1400 ext. 53323 no less than three (3) business days prior to the meeting.

MCSD Summer Programs -Began June 7, 2021
Summer School: Summer Programs will be held at several sites across the district. Students will be receiving information at the beginning of May. Incentives are doubled from $250 to $500 to reward all students who excel in AP Computer Science (AP CS) or attain the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification. <Monroe /> COMPUTE$ is making extra funding available to reward the students who earn the MOS industry certificate or pass the AP CS exam with a three or above during the 2020-2021 school year.
