Kaplan’s SAT Prepathon: Sunday, March 5th

On Sunday, March 5th from 12pm-6pm, Kaplan will be hosting free, nonstop, Live Online prep sessions to help students get ready for the SAT on March 11th.  Instructors will train students on a different section of the SAT every hour, so students can join in at any time throughout the event.

FREE SAT/ACT Combo Practice Test Prep

Now that students have taken the PSAT, many of them will want to decide which test they should take next, the SAT or ACT.   To help them make this important decision, I would like to invite your students to participate in  Kaplan’s National Practice Test Weekend.  Free SAT/ACT Combo Practice tests will be offered throughout the country and Live Online on November 12th and 13th.  We hope your students will join us on November 12th in N. Miami, Orlando or one of our Live Online venues. Please visit www.kaptest.com/practicetestweekend for more information and locations.

Students will take our unique “combo” practice test, exposing them to every section of each exam .  After the test, students will see their scores instantly and receive detailed data helping to determine which test may be best for them.

To prepare for Algebra I retakes, students should take advantage of the FREE Algebra Nation Online resource. Students can access the resource using the login credentials provided to them by their (current or previous) Algebra I teacher. Login to ALGEBRA NATION and begin preparing for the Algebra I retake.

To prepare for EOC Retakes, students should access Florida Virtual School (FLVS) Test Prep for EOC to study content for the assessment. Please be sure to verify which exam your student is required to take (based on freshman year cohort) before they begin preparing. 

The Florida Standards Assessment Portal offers Practice Tests with sample items for students, the practice tests are organized by test and by grade level. To access this FREE resource visit FSA (EOC) PRACTICE TESTS. This link will help you become familiar with the tools in the testing platforms.  

KHAN ACADEMY is an excellent FREE resource available to students who want to increase their knowledge in specific content areas. To utilize this resource, register for an account, select the subject area and begin learning. 

The Florida Students.org website offers Florida Standards, Student Tutorials, and Resources to support learning in Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Civics. Begin by selecting the subject area, then grade level to access standards specific lessons for your student.

Shmoop Online offers test prep for FSA, EOC, PSAT, ACT, SAT & more. Register for an account, begin exploring and learning.
