- The Florida Keys Children's Shelter manages DJJ prevention services Children In Need of Services (CINS) / Families in Need of Services (FINS) with Community Based Counselors (CBC). Often referenced as CINS Counselors, the CBCs work collaboratively with school SSTs and with the Truancy Intervention Coordinator

Attendance Requirements to Maintain Driving Privileges
Provides technical assistance to school personnel who implement the
attendance-related proceedings and to school district technical staff, who provide
information to DHSMV. Also provides updated information and clarifies previous policies related to
the implementation of attendance-related driver’s license requirements for minors. -
Compulsory School Attendance: Update
This TAP clarifies the urgency for consistent local school district efforts to comply with attendance
enforcement requirements.
