    School news:

    • If you are still on the list for Saturday school, please see Sebastian to get it cleared up this week. There is no Saturday school this Saturday.
    • Herff Jones representatives will be on campus during lunch and in the library from 5-8 p.m. tonight to place orders for rings and senior announcements
    • Z-CLUB is collecting canned and box goods for the local Key West women’s shelter for Thanksgiving. Please look for the boxes to drop off your goods at the front office and in building 2 on the 2nd floor between Ms. Walsh and Mrs. Saunders rooms. We will be collecting from now until Friday afternoon.
    • Military students who have a family member deployed over the holidays are invited to come to the library over lunch today to share their plans for the holidays.

    • We would like to commend the organizers of the March for our Lives and all who participated this weekend.  It was a positive community event with many of our students leading the way.

    School news:

    • This week is Drug Facts week for Prevention. Truth about Drugs Fact 4: Common drugs that may be perceived as harmless can still cause a bad reaction to your body and mind. It’s important to remember that drugs are unregulated and unpredictable.
    • Students – the free meals program at lunch will end Jan. 31, next Tuesday.  If you had free or reduced lunch prior to the hurricane, you will resume that status.  All other students will have to begin paying for lunch on Wednesday.  If you need assistance, you can complete a free/reduced lunch application online or come to the office for help with the form.
    • Blood Drive will be next Tuesday January 30th, from 7:30-3:00. Donors will receive a free long sleeve t-shirt plus 2 slices of pizza at lunchtime as well as a wellness checkup and your blood type. Sign-ups will take place at lunch in front of the library starting tomorrow.
    • In preparation for the upcoming blood drive, please do the following to ensure a good experience. Eat a good breakfast and drink plenty of water to start your day. Please stay with the blood mobile until you know you feel completely normal. Do not rush to get to your class. Please drink more water throughout the day. If you begin to feel poorly, sit down and tell an adult immediately. Thank you in advance for your donation to help save lives.”
