• Notice of Public Meeting: School Board

    On Tuesday, May 07, 2024, the School Board will hold the Regular Business Meeting starting at 5:00 P.M. A Public Hearing for the District Adoption of Social Studies Core Instructional  Materials for 2024-2029 is included on the agenda. The host location is Marathon Middle/ High School, 350 Sombrero Beach Road, Marathon, FL 33070.  

    Citizens wishing to address the Board on any agenda item before action should register to speak  during the Citizen Input segment of the meeting by calling (305) 293-1400 ext. 53392 no  later than 2:00 P.M of the meeting day. Upon arrival at the meeting, speakers will  complete the Speaker's Form.  

    If accommodations for a qualifying disability under the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA)  are needed, please call 305-293-1400 ext. 53392 no less than three (3) business days prior  the meeting.

    If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Board, with respect to any matter  considered at a School Board meeting or hearing, that person may need to ensure that a  verbatim record of the proceedings are made.

  • NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING MCSD & UTM Bargaining Team

    The Monroe County School District (MCSD) and the United Teachers of Monroe (UTM) convenes annually to bargain conditions pertinent to the UTM, Teachers and SRP Contracts.  A subcommittee, Educational Performance Incentive Compensation (EPIC), will be working on teacher evaluation and on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, from 1:00- p.m. – 5:00 p.m.  The meeting will be held on Microsoft Teams.
