• Notice of Public Meeting: School Board

    Due to two separate tragedies impacting the school district and the school board, this meeting will now be held on May 13th. The time and location will remain the same.

    On Tuesday, May 06, 2025   May 13th 2025, the School Board will begin with the Regular Business Meeting approximately at 5:00 P.M. A Public Hearing for Policies and Job Descriptions are also included on the agenda. The host location is Coral Shores High School, 89901 Old Hwy, Tavernier, FL 33070.

    Citizens wishing to address the Board on any agenda item before action should register to speak during the Citizen Input segment of the meeting by calling (305) 293-1400 ext. 53392 by 2:00 P.M of the meeting day. Upon arrival at the meeting, the speakers will complete the Speaker's Form. 

    Persons requesting accommodations for a qualifying disability under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) should call 305-293-1400 ext. 53392 with their request no less than five (5) business days prior to the meeting and complete a speaker's card identifying what accommodation is requested.

    If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Board, with respect to any matter considered at a School Board meeting or hearing, that person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings are made.

    The School Board will hold a Meeting for Superintendent Finalist Interviews on Thursday, May 01, 2025, commencing at 9 A.M. The meeting will take place at Marathon Middle/High School, located at 350 Sombrero Beach Road, Marathon, FL 33050.

    Citizens who wish to address the Board on any agenda item prior to action must register to speak during the Citizen Input segment of the meeting. To register, please call (305) 293-1400 ext. 53392 by 2:00 P.M. on the day of the meeting. Upon arrival, speakers are required to complete the Speaker's Form.

    On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, the School Board will begin with a Closed Session starting at approximately 3:45 P.M. for Quarterly Safety and Security Update and Collective Bargaining, followed a Workshop for the Superintendent Search starting at 4:15 P.M. The Regular Business Meeting will begin approximately at 5:00 P.M. A Public Hearing for a Job Description is also included on the agenda.
