• Notice of Public Meeting: School Board

    On Tuesday, August 9, 2022, the School Board will hold a Workshop at 4:30 P.M, followed by the Regular Business Meeting at 5:00 P.M.  A Budget Hearing is scheduled at 5:05 P.M, and a Public Hearing for Policy is included on the agenda. The host location is at Marathon Middle & High School – Media Center, 350 Sombrero Rd, Marathon FL 33050.

    Citizens wishing to address the Board on any agenda item before action should register to speak during the Citizen Input segment of the meeting by calling (305) 293-1400 ext. 53323 no later than 2:00 P.M of the meeting day. Upon arrival at the meeting, speakers will complete the Speaker's Form.

    Persons requesting accommodation for a qualifying disability under the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) should call 305-293-1400 ext. 53323 with their request no less than five (5) business days prior the meeting and complete a speaker's card identifying what accommodation is requested.

    If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Board, with respect to any matter considered at a School Board meeting or hearing, that person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings are made.

    On Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at 2:30 P.M, the School Board of Monroe County will have a retreat to review and discuss Strategic Planning. The host location is at the Key West City Hall, 2nd Floor Conference Room, 1300 White Street, Key West, FL 33040. The public is welcome and may observe at this location.
