Key Largo School Cell Phone Policy

● Students are to have their phones put away in their bags and turned off before they enter the campus to begin their school day.

● NO PHONES are to be out during passing from class to class.

● Students are NOT allowed to have their phones during lunch.

● Students are to keep their cellphones turned off and in their backpacks for the entire day.

● Cellphones are allowed once they step off of campus.

● Cellphone use will be allowed for afterschool activities and sports only.

Parents/Guardians are advised that the best way to get in touch with their child during the school day is by calling the school office, at 305.453.1255

If a cell phone rings, vibrates, is used for any reason, or is visible anytime during class time, or if you are caught using it on campus during any time, a staff member may confiscate the device. 

Earbuds/Earphones

NO earbuds/earphones are allowed on campus. Earbuds/earphones seen will be collected, put in an envelope with the student's name, and turned into administration.

It should be noted that the school nor any of its employees are not responsible for the loss or damage to any
student’s phone or electronic device.

It is the responsibility of the student to adhere to this policy and to secure his or her belongings at all times.

Classes and or instruction will not be stopped to deal with or search for lost phones/devices.
