HOB students participate in the Tropic Cinema’s 72 Hour Film Challenge

Nine HOB students recently participated in the Tropic Cinema’s 72 Hour Film Challenge.  The challenge was to create, film, and edit a film in 72 hours.  The team was made up of Mrs. Manaher’s Drama students and students from last year’s television production class.  They filmed at Miami Subs, Shakti Yoga Studio, Smathers Beach, and the Key West Cemetery.  All of the films debuted at The Tropic Cinema this past week. Students participating were Taryn Brogli, Bronson Campo, Mia Cawvey, Angelina Diaz, Caitlyn Hetu, Monika Jaroszwicz, Zouh Zouh Jiang, and Maddox Lowe.  Nikita Lebedev also participated by creating a film with his family.  This was such a creative project and the kids put in a full weekend of hard work.
