Each year the University of Miami-Nova Southeastern University Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (UM-NSU CARD) awards individuals who have made a significant contribution to making our community a better place for individuals with autism and related disabilities. This year, Monroe County School District ESE Staffing Specialist (formerly the District Transition Specialist) Kellie Niles is a recipient of UM-NSU CARD's Outstanding Educator's Award. Kellie has helped connect many families in the keys with CARD services and other community resources and has organized trainings for families and professionals.
