The KWHS Mock Trial Team competed in the Florida High School Mock Trial State Competition at the Orange County Courthouse this weekend against 17 other Judicial District teams.

 

They fought hard for three rounds, arguing either the defense or plaintiff side of a civil case involving a college student expelled for use of AI (Claims for relief on the counts of breach of contract and specific performance.)

 

The team was awarded the Legal Professionalism Award for "outstanding professionalism and ethics in legal advocacy."
