Some exciting news for AVID at KWHS, our senior AVID class is excited to announce we have one scholar recipient for the Dell Scholar Program from the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation!

Pedro Morales will be awarded $20,000 over the course of his 4 years in college, as well as a Dell Computer, $2,000 in textbook credits, and multifaceted personal support to navigate academic, emotional, and financial challenges through college.

He is 1 of 500 students to be selected nationally for this program through his grit, potential, and ambition to get to college. The scholarship program is only open to students in selective college prep courses approved by the Foundation, AVID being one of them.
