Citizen Input
-
The School Board of Monroe County is seeking community-wide input concerning the leadership qualities desired in our next Superintendent. Your input is essential in helping us select the leader who will guide our district towards continued success. We will be asking citizens to participate in this process in several different ways, including:
- A Public Survey. The Superintendent Search Public Survey was conducted through the end of February by the Florida School Boards Association with direct input from the Monroe County School Board. All information provided by the survey was reported to the Board, and was used to design the application process and prepare interview questions for candidates. The results of the survey is provided on this page, allowing you to stay informed and involved in the Superintendent search process.
- Public meetings will be held throughout the process. The first round of meetings took place February 11th - 13th in Key West, Marathon and Islamorada. The results of the input from those meetings is listed below. Further meetings will take place as the search narrows down potential candidates. See the dates for the upcoming meetings on the right side of this page.
